Carol has a passion for entrepreneurship and is one of Australia’s leading business identities recognised as an esteemed commentator on governance, social enterprise, gender equality, women’s leadership, business and finance issues.

As a strong advocate and supporter of entrepreneurs and early stage start-ups, Carol is an investor and Co-Founder of Scale Investors, a Director of Skalata Ventures and a first round investor in urban-tech startup Neighbourlytics. Other Directorships include Reserve Bank of Australia, EQT Holdings Limited, Trawalla Group, Qualitas Property Partners as well as Founding Chair of Our Community and Women’s Leadership Institute Australia.

Some of Carol’s recent acknowledgements include; being appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia in the 2019 Queen’s Birthday Honours for distinguished service to the community as a supporter of women in leadership roles, to social justice advocacy, and to business, and being recognised by Ernst & Young as the 2018 Champion of Entrepreneurship, Southern Region.
