About the Founder

Hannon Comazzetto is the CEO and Founder of AirRobe. She has a breadth of experience across both corporates and startups - founding her first startup at law school. Hannon launched AirRobe in 2019 where she was accepted into the Startmate Accelerator. She built the MVP herself and bootstrapped her way to $1.2 million in seed capital in 2020 from top Australian and US investors. AirRobe has since launched an exciting solution called the Circular Wardrobe which enables retailers and consumers to both monetise the circular "re-commerce" economy.

About the Business

AirRobe is re-imagining re-commerce.

We enable fashion retailers and their customers to enter and monetise the circular economy in one click. We have created a novel product called the Circular Wardrobe which allows shoppers to capture all the data and imagery of their brand new purchase. At any time, they can log in to their Circular Wardrobe, see their past purchases, and list them for rent or resale on the AirRobe marketplace in seconds. Manually listing things for resale or rental sucks - the Circular Wardrobe means shoppers will never have to go through this clunky and tired process again.

Fashion retailers that partner with us to offer their customers the Circular Wardrobe see uplift in sales, increase in average order value, and decrease in abandoned cart rate - all while tapping into the sustainability movement which has fast become one of the biggest drivers of customer loyalty. AirRobe works primarily with high-quality fashion retailers in Australia, NZ and across the US.

What's the story so far?
Hannon started AirRobe in 2019. She bootstrapped the initial product to 30, 000 customer sign-ups and over $600, 000 in GMV run rate within the first 6 months. Two months into the business, AirRobe was accepted into Startmate. In mid-2020, with Hannon as the only FTE, AirRobe raised $1.2m in seed funding from leading Australian and US Investors, including from retail industry veterans Paul Greenberg and Brian Sugar.

With a newly hired engineering team AirRobe then built its product - the Circular Wardrobe. The Circular Wardrobe launched in November 2020 and is now live with fashion retailers across Australia, New Zealand and Europe. AirRobe is now a team of 7 full time employees and 10 contractors, and is building monetum with fashion retailers across Australia.
