
Apropela Screening
Apropela is not open to everyone. We carefully select only 8- 10 female Founders per year through an extensive screening process. If successful, you will be invited to pitch at one of our Portfolio Events and join our other outstanding female Founders and CEOs as an ‘Apropela Portfolio CEO’.
Apropela 'Connects for Growth' by facilitating personal introductions and access to the business networks female entrepreneurs need to accelerate growth of their businesses.
Examples of a successful outcome from these introductions include:

‘Getting a foot in the door’ – including business meetings, raised awareness in the target market, referrals on to other organisations, receiving useful product information and market intelligence, and so on.

Being invited to pitch, tender, and/or being added to an organisations database to be invited to future rounds.

The negotiation of a contract; obtaining clients and/or partners.

Access to funding.

Access to talent.

Establishment of a strategic partnership.

Breaking into a new territory and/or expanding overseas.

Receiving mentoring; contacts needed in order to establish an advisory council and/or board; and building a business network that helps and supports the growth of the company into the future.
Success varies, and the degree of success will depend on the efforts of the Founder in their follow-through.
